A Love Story

We once stood on a narrow bamboo bridge
And then I drew you closer and we kissed
All of a sudden I grew oblivious
To the circumstance, season, time, and place
When both our bodies locked in an embrace.

My spirit soared to a dazzling height
At the touch of your lips against mine
And as I breathed your feminine scent
I got a taste of heaven on earth
And everything else that ever has worth.

And when at last we opened our eyes
We found that we were soaking wet
For it had rained, and it was so cold.
Was it truly love that possessed us so?
That made us forget the world and its woe?

Love and the magical power of getting us to forget the world and its woe so very evident through this profound write. So well articulated and expressed in the most eloquent manner.i love the imagery painted throughout in such a descriptive flow and how you’ve captured this moment so poetically. Pleasure reading this. Congratulations on your win
