A Love Song
Love is now a feel that cuts thru my vein,
It’s a wave that runs down to the core and more.
I feel I am full only when you are near.
If you go far from me, I will feel so sore.
I want you to know that I love you more than all.
You beam as the fair moon in my sky.
Know that you are the only one I love.
Come down, don’t stay like a star up so high.
I will make a home just for you and me.
And set up all that will suit your whim,
Wrap you up in a feel, so pure, lush, and warm,
Like a swan in the lake of joy, I shall make you swim.
I love you in a way that none can beat.
My love for you is deep, a love you will feel.
My body, mind, and soul I give you free and full,
And my warm care that can calm, mend, and heal.
When you are with me, I long to hold your hand.
My lips burn for a kiss when no one is near.
You wake the love buds in me that I fail to tame.
You are the song I wish to hear and the load I wish to bear.
