A Love Poem

There it laid dead in the metal pan,
My heart removed from my chest.
But being honest out of all the surgeons
...you were the best.

Incredible... same as the later poem you wrote about your heart being torn out. The imagery is incredible, and the pain palpable, in so few words. I am stunned.
