A Love Poem
I always felt as though
I was searching for a feeling.
Chasing the one thing
That I was constantly missing.
All the wrong places
At all the wrong times.
Shyness and uncertainties.
Maddening insecurities.
Taking a deep breath,
I let go of it all
"Love will find me" I said.
Unexpectedly I will fall…
Hiding in plain sight,
He swept me off my feet.
This love I’ve finally found,
I will surely always keep.
Kisses laced with endless smiles.
Craving that sweet embrace.
Happiness dances along my skin.
Simply put, this amazing man is mine
And I am forever proud to be his.
