....A Love of Mine!

There once was a day Not so long ago When we laughed in the rain When we played in the snow Where our dreams we had traveled Beyond valleys so deep Their passing forever The memories we'd keep The mountains, the meadows The rivers intwined The rainbows, through windows And all of humankind.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ....A love of mine!

John, I'm "smiling big" about this one! I love to glide to the happy places like this pleasing poem. In doing so, sometimes the dreary side vanishes for awhile. Until forever, if we make the right turn. I enjoy your writing and your comments. Thank you, sincerely. Lovingly, Dane

Sometimes I wish I knew what to do with such memories ... I am glad you write them, for then I only have to read them. My friend, I thank for friendship, for the rights to read and speak of what I read, and for the courage to love this soluble remnant of a child ... hankering after your motivating words ... Continue to give your genius bloom, paint all petals with talent's richest dye. Love

The "rainbows of humankind" is a wonderful way to describe the gifts diversity brings to our culture. Where would we be without the beauty of rainbows? Perhaps a black-and-white world, devoid of creative colors. This is one for my favorites, John! Love to you, Carolyn
