A Love Not Found
You said you'd love me forever
In the 10th grade.
Did you even know what love was?
I could have sworn I loved you too.
So, when we ended, my world fell apart.
But, I saw that the world kept spinning
Regardless of the pain I felt.
I told myself I had to move on but
How can we move on
From a love we'll never find?
I picked myself up and finally
Left you behind.
No. This doesn't make me cruel.
No. I am not sorry.
I've made my decision to make my life
Happier. And I wish you all the happiness
In the world.
