A Love Never Meant To Be
Everyday I see you,
I look into your eyes,
Hoping for a spark,
Hoping for that look,
But I see nothing.
I am invisible in your world.
In my world you are so much more,
Superior than I will ever be.
I stand in front of this beauty,
Yet I am nothing but a background,
Prop and nothing more.
So now my feelings are put up on a,
Shelf where they will stay and,
Never ever come out.
Was it love or just a crush?
Neither, it just was never meant to be.
Maybe in a past life we were in love,
Just not this life.
