A Love Never Meant To Be

Everyday I see you,
I look into your eyes,
Hoping for a spark,
Hoping for that look,
But I see nothing.
I am invisible in your world.
In my world you are so much more,
Superior than I will ever be.
I stand in front of this beauty,
Yet I am nothing but a background,
Prop and nothing more.
So now my feelings are put up on a,
Shelf where they will stay and,
Never ever come out.
Was it love or just a crush?
Neither, it just was never meant to be.
Maybe in a past life we were in love,
Just not this life.

Hello Okiegirlsrock, yes that love could have happened in the past life. Hugs.

Hello Okiegirlsrock, I do not remember my past life. I never felt that a person I met was from the past life. No one has ever said "I remember you". Yet that can happen . Hugs.

Yes past lives are felt much more deeper than just a regular relationship. You may remember everything about them and yet they don't even remember you and that has got to hurt really deep. So you just let them go....maybe one day they wake up and remember you. Then all is good.
