A Love Never Had

Your words your image your touch
sketched in my heart a tattoo of blush
your scent follows like an exotic mist
your lips full and your eyes fierce
your kiss your swag the smoother side
the innocent laughs we once had
bodies entwined in blinded fear
as if we were meant to always be there
your strength was my weakness
unsung feelings silenced by meekness
afraid to confess in the dawn of love
now the sky has opened up
and the vision no longer yielding
just the light the sun has shone
the familiar face my lips traced
all the days I wished you near
you were beyond in another space
the love inside I never knew
a love never had is my poetry of you..
