A Love Letter
Take the things you know she loves,
The things she yearns for most,
LOVE and HAPPY and ALL THAT'S GOOD,
And write them in a note,
Then mail the note to her front door,
Marked URGENT: DON’T DELAY,
And sit and wait for the courier man,
To deliver it the next day,
Then, on arrival, know she grows,
Know she’s happy deep inside,
Know each small word she reads,
Helps to paint a smile,
On her face and in her mind,
A happy smile she cannot speak,
And know that what both you have,
Is a love that’s quite unique.
