A Love Connection
never go to sleep on anger
keep the lines of communication open and clear
be receptive to what each other has to say
even if it's not something you want or need to hear
remember it's no longer only just you
you're not in this all by yourself
you're now husband & wife, man & woman
in sickness and in health
marriage requires a lot of work
consider this now your primary role
for it takes two to tango
and two halves to make a whole
you have found your true mate, the other half of your soul
put all others to the wayside
trust in each other and the faith you have in your shared love
and then sit back and enjoy the ride
The Lord has blessed you both
with a glorious love connection
so just keep believing in each other
and may you have a union just short of perfection
