A Loud Silence
A Loud Silence
She sits and stares
She wants him there
To help her mend
The wounds she bears
She keeps breathing
Her heart stays beating
She has to cope
Through pain repeating
Then time compiles
More broken smiles
The razor's edge
Helps for a while
In her despair
She ponders where
She'll find help
And one to care
She keeps breathing
Her heart stays beating
She has to cope
Through pain repeating
Thus fall the tears
And those who hear
Turn away
With blind fear.
Don't they know
What hides below
The tattered cotton
What doesn't show
