A Lost Cause

Nobody sees things the way I do
They're too caught up with their own lives
I need to be heard
It's a lost cause

I'm trapped and I can't run
Because there's no place to go
I can't stay here or my mind will explode
And I'm suffocating
So full of hatred and bitterness
It's a lost cause

There's times when I want to end this
And just leave this world
Put an end to my sorrow and pain
But I'm scared I'll find nothing out there
And I'll be endlessly floating
It's a lost cause
