A Loss For Words
Where is the disconnect
Between thought and speech
Words to describe emotion
To my mouth unable to reach
Expression of my heart
Unable to find
A pathway between
Heart, voice and mind
Lost in the abyss
Of my mental chaos
But how to escape
I’m at a total loss
Guess I’m just destined to be
This Heart without a voice
So I will just continue to write
Because I have no other choice
