A Losing Game

With love we stayed, With love we grew apart, We knew this, Still stayed in obligations, Begged in agony, Apart lastly... You knew, I didn't care about your ways, In the name of love, I begged you to stay, But loving you, Was a losing game... And oh darling, You saw it coming, My thoughts racing, Never matching your plans, Signs we ignored, To stay warm on cold nights, but In the name of love, You let me go, 'Cause you already knew, Loving me was a losing game...
