A Look In The Mirror

Short stubble streaked with gray
A scarred face and eyes that know
It’s a decade short of the crisis
But forty is already in tow.

And still the mirror gives nothing back,
but fogged glass, only my breath -
a cloud dissolving, like my life before,
a gasp, years it cannot hold.

The mirror is an interesting topic to choose. Yeah, mirrors don't do 'real'. I reckon breath , while fragile and transient is still amazing. J :)

It is aint it? Sometimes life is a mirror...we look in...see ourselves...move on and forget what the mirror was saying. Thanks for your welcome comments on my poem
