A Long Beard

This is a long beard
Before no long mustache I grew
Shaving it short, I used to do
Today, it is this long I know

This is a long beard
No more time for shaving
Thoughts surface my mind
Maybe this is lethargy

This is a long beard
Everything we experience
God knows the reasons
Monday and Sunday are days

They are part of the week
They keep the people busy
Not with the same need
This is a long beard

A long mustache has developed
Some time it has taken to grow
Effects always follow causes
And now this is a long beard
