A Lonely Night
Cold winds blowing in the still night,
Ghouls wander the lands,
determined to give a fright,
No sounds of joy are heard,
Oh when i pray will these drapes of darkness be unveiled.
The night brings with it , a feel of nothingness,
Shrouding all that light had blessed
with a menacing shade of black,
Unable to control my fear , i fall back.
The morning sun purges all evidence of night,
A bright new day to live is in sight,
But the darkness remains forever restless ,
To once again make despair seem endless.
