A Lone Poem

When a poem is so lone—
It gives an image of an old painting that
Hangs on the wall with loving reverence,
The lone poem has its own attraction in its
Delights and sadness and whatever around!
It revives passion and integrity from despair,
It regenerates the moribund rhythms and events of life,
In a monsoon night it makes the downpour
More vibrant and effusive,
It prompts a heart to watch the
Tremulous dew-drops on a leaf!
It takes someone to a lone sunset,
It persuades a heart to stroll alone on a street
In a foggy night by a lamppost with timid light,
It brings the placidity that augments the
Grandeur of any soul,
It creates a deep pain in the shadows of happiness,
It manifests its similes and metaphors
So harmoniously!
