A Lock of Hair

A lock of hair
  A torn shoe string
A rocking chair
  A wedding ring

A dial phone
  A worn headband
A xylophone
  An old night stand

A broken piece, a little bit
  of what has passed
No longer fits
  ~ Their memories last

sometimes we hold onto these things just to help hold the memories closer! Beautifully penned Gershon! Love this poem it speaks volumes in its simplicity :) hugs

Yes, and let us close our eyes and hold on to them, as well as proclaim them to others. Thank you for the feedback and the support, Heidi! :) gw

This was such a sing-song write. I found myself loving every line, Mr. Wolf.

I'm glad you liked this sing-song verse, Mrs. Krutsinger. (If I'm Mr. Wolf, then you are Mrs. Krutsinger. LOL.) How about Caren and Gershon? Works for me! :) gw
