A Little Shaking Going On
The East Coast has many people like me,
who were busy at work or having afternoon tea.
All of a sudden, we would see
Mother Nature exhibiting her fury.
Although it was something rather short and paltry,
it reminded us all of our mortality,
and that mankind has vulnerability.
There was a set of jolts and shakes;
something that we experience during earthquakes.
From Virginia and around Washington, DC,
the shakes were felt in New York and New Jersey.
Further north the shaking would go.
It was detected as far north as Toronto.
Life has to continue despite the shaking of the ground.
I don’t want to be here if a bigger one comes around.
