A Little Love

I’ve been waiting for mother to come back home.
But all I really know is that I don’t want to know.
Why she left. I just want her back. A little love.
She spread her wings and made a mark upon the wall
And now she is gone.

Far from my love.
Far from my love.
Far from my love.

Can you see her? Waiting there for someone like me?
And can you ask her what I need to be forgiven?

A sweet verse, Stephen. I can feel the heart throbbing in this one. Those that leave surely always leave their mark. Always, Laura
