Do you want to be a happier person?
Do you want good karma to come your way?
Practice kindness in this cruel world, I often do
It's one of my most salient characteristics
A little kindness never hurts
To me, there's nothing more
Emotionally and spiritually rewarding
Than knowing you've brightened
Somebody's day. I always feel good being kind
A little kindness never hurts
I find that it's a demulcent to the soul
The measure of kindness, however small
Is remembered by those on the receiving end
It's a virtue my parents instilled in me as a child
A little kindness never hurts
I'm proud to say that I'm kind, naturally
I make an effort to practice kindness
Expecting nothing in return. And I go to sleep
Satisfied that I've done some good in the world
A little kindness never hurts
