A Little Kindness Never Hurts
I would be falsifying if I claimed to be kind all the time
I wish it were not so that sometimes I'm out of line
But I dare to say that I am inclined most times to shine
I am not aversed to giving to others what is rightfully mine
I often shine with a smile, or I may yield even if it is my turn to go
But sometimes my anger cup runs over for reasons I don't always know
I am not perfect, nor expect to be in this present frame, but I am not afraid if called upon to take the blame. Moreover, I have been forgiven; and never forgetting to be forgiving, there is room in my heart to absorb a few blows that I may not have coming.
