A Lingering Plea

My bewildering sigh
Don’t take those lips from me
Now, for I will swoon
And wither
An endless quiver of forsaking
For you’ll be breaking
My heart that longs for you
So
And go
Never more and adore her
And ere
That doesn’t compare
With my deepest affections
For you
Come back to me now
For I vow
I will vanish
Into a darkish
Depths
