A Line Being Drawn In the Sand

A Line Is Being Drawn In The Sand

Through the mockery of sin where do I begin
A tug at the heart should light the spark to what I'm waiting for
Jesus drew a line in the sand to protect Mary from tragedy
A whole host of poetic warriors fight for their right in the night
The traveler's on a flight to rome far from home
Many heads out in the street far fetched riots sort of circus freek
Shattered glass on the cement floor lest I emplore for more
Power to the people wearing eyes of tombstone in their heads
A face full of lead parting places in search of traces
Why is their a new barbie wearing a bright knitted sweater
No matter what your mood may be don't blame it on the weather
We treasured a single red rose that was picked a time ago
Choose to become a beacon of hope in a hurting world in need
While the outside world wearing long hanging fangs that bleed
Marked on a blotted page yet still clearly intact
Billy Joel was right from working today can give you a heart attack
A line being drawn in the sand when will we understand
Heads filled with dreams just to fulfill their evil schemes
A cold clap in the dark has now been brought to the light
Never relent in the race of life to ever give up on the fight
The field is ready for it's harvest time sound the alarm
