A Lighthouse

Amidst life's havoc Remains love Being so like a lighthouse Ready to guide us all, Battling souls To the right shores! Amidst life's havoc Remains love indeed Love, comforting Hope inspiring Bonding Securing Why, love, Healing and even Cleansing! Why, like the many battling souls Into life's raging waters I do row Taking my duty as my life boat And my moral conduct as my oars Still I remain hooked to the horizon Anticipating to see, Beyond the rogue waves crashing over me A lighthouse With its lights So like angelic mercy Thrust upon me as a boon! Pray, I do know for sure That the seas, though vast Do have to give way to land, Somewhere, somehow or the other And I do know as well That I shall see a lighthouse And that it shall not only be my savior But that it shall be my redeemer!
