A Light Houses Soul

On a rocky coast sits a light house. From a distance you can only see Bits and pieces of its existence. A strong foundation supports the time That has beaten down the walls outside Through the windows you will see That nothing is as it seems Screams of pain go unheard Seeping wildly through the doors A beacon shines over the sea Releasing souls as they sleep Dancing across moon lit beams Are gods angels of the deep

This is a powerful write my friend! This poem is not what it seems at first read! You may think it's just a beautifully happy poem, but it's more than that, there is a deeper meaning to it....as said in these limes, "Screams of pain go unheard...releasing souls as they sleep" that tells me of a hidden meaning within! The poem is deep, and I love it Cory, I feel the pain...or I've felt it before my friend! What a fantastically brave piece, Great Work!!
