Oh the exaltation...when having prayed for a grave situation for so long...one can 'see' the faint 'light' of an answer!!! Amen and Pressing-on

She had been walking

on the same midnight road

for so long...

its ebone' atmosphere

enveloping her sight...'snickering'

at her pleas and song*

She followed a destined path

making its now and again turns...

her dilated pupils robotically ahead

...stared

peering far into the cold distance...

seeking a sliver of gold, oh just a spark!

the weary fibers of her very being

persistently...glared!*

There were times of secret wails

when even she did not understand...yet

she pressed on...

unseen protective arms…bore

'til, at last...

the appointed time...came...!

albeit, the hour of 'a-l-l' her pining...arrived!

she was at first stunned…

then realization flooded...her core…*

For...there...it...was!

A 'minute' essence

of darkness' vanquish...appeared

...a Light!!!*

So small, perhaps...

not...at all?!??

she squinted...yes!

it was there...

a Light!!!*

Snailing and obtuse, but...

a glimmer...!

she flung away the 'mounds' of

accumulated despondency...

silenced! the reverberating...

'what's the use??!!'*

Still so far away,

but never-the-less

...a Light!!!*

At last! a beckoning...

O, Lord...a hope!

yes...yes...! she knows...she knows!

there's a long, long ways to go but

...a Light!!!*

It matters not the size of it

for to her

it is a 'brigade' of opulence bright

t-e-a-r-i-n-g... t-h-r-o-u-g-h

the facade

of her e-t-e-r-n-a-l night!*

A Light...!!! A Light...!!!

O! Praise God...

...A Light!!!
