A Life's Journey

Hushing sweet waves
on the river,
the greenish palm
tress oscillate
its freshness in breeze.

Puffy eyes beneath
the sky,
lying down on the broad
bamboo raft,
never feels the hardness
it gives, only the wind paddles
and knows where she goes.

Superb tranquility of the
distant view uplifts
a woman's journey
with courage and optimism.

The yo-yos of her life
will someday subside,
she'll pass the water
under the bridge,
she'll arrive the end line,
surely survive with
thumbs up.
