A Life Time Fight

A fight that has been eternal lasting This poem is going to put on full blasting The gender bias of women being equal to men It’s one fight that has truly been And yet we still hold women to prove themselves beyond For they are still trying to break societies bond A conversation that has taken place Is one that will prove this undertaken case “Women are too emotional and get inside their head So men are better off for the team to be led” Their sensitivities get to them From where do all these ideas stem Women, should learn to communicate when they struggle But men should hesitate when they have too much to juggle It’s said they won’t ask for help just because they’re men This is an idea that I don’t understand times ten What’s fair for one is fair for all At least that’s what they say by government law
