A Life of Contradictions
Some folks live a life of contradictions,
Ignoring the words they say.
Like saying the sky is overcast,
On any bright blue sunny day.
Or when they illegally download,
Pop songs off the internet.
Then announcing they'd never steal,
From any corner store business outlet.
You see, living a life of mental lies,
In the shadow of what is right.
Is done by too many people of late,
In denial of truth's black and white.
We all need to be vigilant and considered,
Aware about the way that we feel.
And try to keep things honest and true,
To always keep things pure and real.
