A Letter To Lonely Love

Dear Love,
Sitting alone you cry in loneliness,
or linger solitary in darkness,
I know you encountered negligence,
as people fall prey to dismay.
The quest for love is there no more ,
in the hearts of people to watch out for,
dark shadows of hatred took your place,
anger, pain, suffering has become a common case.
Your saddened thoughts are not a mystery,
nor the stories of love a history,
I do understand your hearts desire,
You too want to be loved and admired.
I'll put out my hand,
little closer you stand,
we'll together find a magical wand,
the days will no more be gloomy blue,
all hearts will echo I love you.
