A Letter To God

Dear God, Am I where You want me to be? Have I walked far enough in my spiritual journey? Is this anxiety I am feeling because I have failed You, or is it because I have pleased You? Am I bogged down in sin? Am I being egotistical about Your plan for me? Who am I that You should be mindful of me? Who am I that You should love me? God, Is it Your desire for me to expand my spiritual life? Am I to be a constant evangelist? How much do You expect from me? Is it enough just to love You? Have I failed You? Am I greedy to constantly expect thrills from You? What right do I have to expect to be the center of Your attention? Have I thanked You for choosing me? God, Have I thanked You Lord for my blessings, and for the gift of Your Son on the cross? Have I thanked You for my answered prayers and my un-answered prayers? Did I thank You for the struggles in my life? Have I offered blessings for You? Have I thanked You for your patient mercy? Did I thank You for Your mighty deeds? How can I ever thank You enough? God, Will you help me? Will You give me a better understanding of Your will? Am I missing Your plan for my life? Will You please open my eyes Lord? Will You help me to give You my willing heart? Will You please forgive my sins? Will I make it to Heaven? Will I have my mansion? Will there be peace for me? Am I Your child? Will You be my friend, my Father, my confidant, my counselor, the love of my life, my Savior? Sincerely and respectfully, with love, your child.
