A Letter For Marley
My beloved
I was not there when you were born
But you were on my mind
Just like your daddy
You have the capacity to grab all the attention
Talked to you on the phone
Garble! garble! garble!
Its your Granma I say
Can't wait to see you one day
You mean the world to your daddy
And your mommy and me
I’m the happiest I have ever been he said.
He wakes at night to feed you
Even when he is tired
You are his pride and joy.
These words are a letter to Marley
Who lay across the sea.
