A Lesson Learned

Eyes meeting in the early morning, Who needs light? As your eyes twinkle like the stars. Flirting back and forth Teasing words of things to come. Touching hands, caressing bodies, Reaching peaks, and then free-falling. Quick to begin, too soon, too fast. Another thing that does not last. End it quickly, the pain's not deep. . Lies unspoken, deception is high, Add to it, another lie. Mistakes repeated, lessons returned, Build up the wall, A lesson learned.
