A Lazy Spring Day
It’s a beautiful day
I went to Braum’s with some of my friends
Talked for a while
And laughed, joked about some silly things
It was so fun
We sat in the car
Looking over something that you did
That I had found so funny
I was sitting there with the banana split in my hand
And a spoon on the other
Having a good old time
The sun was shining outside
The cool, breezy air blowing inside my window
Time stood still
Me thinking of you
I raise my face to catch the wind
What a lovely day
A lazy spring day
Almost feels like summer
I can stay here forever
And freeze this moment
So funny the things we said and done
Ha everything is going to be like this from now on
I am going to freeze it
And enjoying it
‘cause in these moments I am thinking of you
