A Last Goodbye

I’ll put my arms around you
Kiss you goodbye
No one needs to see us cry
You used my heart
To control my mind
Let me take your hand
Just one more time
Dance with me by the fire
I’ll push your hair back
So you can remember my eyes
Then walk me to the gallows
Hold my lantern
Take my watch
Turn around
Say goodbye
