A Lament of Hope
In these shadows of life's calamities,
The drying tears of my slilence
Remain the reminder of the past and present;
Memories and moments so painful and hurtful.
The comforting smile on my face
Hides deep and heart-piercing agonies
No one will ever comprehend,
As if they will ever care to listen.
It is in this silence of my weeping,
Where unfold the unseen afflictions and tragedies
That are unbearable to my young soul,
I'm referring to the apocalyptic scenes of my horrifying existence...
But as i mourn the losses and regrets
Of my life's journey,
The lingering faith in me
Celebrates the wins and gains of hope.
Oh God, my trust in you, remains.
For your will, though it hurts sometimes,
It remains what is best for us
And so, let it be done.
