A Lady Untamed

Sit back and wait like a lady?
A lady I remain while untamed
I tell you I like you
Without shame I pursue you
Something I will not wait on line to do
Flattering you, appreciating your beautiful
From the outside to within then back again
Your beauty a loop I want to wrap myself in
It should be sin that I'm the first to say this to you
I want to date you
Oh is that too forward?
I'm gallant
Filled with courage
I will speak what I mean freely
Even if my gender says I'm confusing the roles and have to wait till you approach me
I see what I like
Now I'm a lion in heat
You entertain it but hesitant I see
Your gorgeousness makes lines blurry
Difficult to read between
So if you don't want me you must make mention of that
I will not acquiesce
To the beat of this rhythm
My magnificence has dimensions
Go too slow and you'll miss some
I'd gladly however move on if the radiance of my light is just too bright
For many it will be
But you never said a thing anti reciprocal to my very bold pursuit of you
Instead you painted me the color fool
And put me on display
Instead of extending Grace and allowing me to walk away with my face
You tuck some pain in the belt at my waist and steal my pride in exchange
