Thinking thin and fighting the battle of the bulge...the universal war humans wage upon themselves.
Sandwich Island!...that perfect retreat
Say's "Lay in the sun..you fatty..and eat."
All of your innards..as your only ploy,
Luscious you bid me.."partake and enjoy."
Caught in the middle..like baloney on rye
Making me think all my dreams you'll supply.
Flush you old devil...and all you pretend
You've got your crust dammit..you're not my friend.
You're but a prison...all chuck full of sin
And want to make sure that I never get thin.
I'm walking away and for me that's the end,
I won't let you stop me from wearing a ten.
Mashed Potato Mountain!..a magnificent sight,
Looms there so splendid...an eater's delight.
You know your delicious...so perfectly grand,
Erupting hot gravy...and making your stand.
I start to the top with my fork and my knife,
I've been climbing you, darn it, all of my life.
Forget you old mountain...I don't want to be fat.
And climbing you now is not where it's at.
Sit there an artifice...and reach for the sky,
This is one eater... that's passing you by.
Challenge you offer?..Climb you again?
Not if I'm thinking... that I want to be thin.
Dessert Desert!..whipped cream rolling plain,
Promised land forever..what I live in gastric pain.
Chocolate and goodies...all the sweets in the store,
Say..."Pleasures enter here...this is fatty's door.
Delicious devils...your goodies are such fun,
Why am I a dimwit...and won't stop at only one?
Forget you ever knew me..I don't want to be your slave,
You've taken much more from me then you ever gave.
"Sweets to the sweet"...now that's a lot of bunk,
We're through forever 'sweetie'..'cause you're a lot of junk.
So stop you constant nagging..with the messages you send.
There is no way I'll not shrink into my number ten.
