A Knock On the Door

A knock on the door
Changed my whole world
Never again would the sun
Be as bright as when walking
The beach with you.
Never again would the wine
Taste as sweet, as trips
To the vineyard with you.
Never again would sleep
Come as easily as when
Snuggled up with you.
A knock on the door
Changed my whole world
To one, without you.
