A Kiss Under the Mistletoe

A KISS UNDER THE MISTLETOE

A kiss under the mistletoe
Is always a great delight
You can find a convenient time
To be there when its right

Watching all the pretty girls
To see which one will be
Caught beneath the mistletoe
To share a kiss with me

From teenage years until today
For more than sixty years
I still recall each tender kiss
And my eyes will fill with tears

What a wonderful way
To spend your life
When the girl you kissed
Turns out to be your wife

Dr. Ram: Thank you for revisiting the write. I wrote this poem the day before my wife's birthday last year. She went Home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2014. I miss her greatly but I know she is with the Lord and He has given me the peace, comfort, and consolation I need. Thank you for your support over the years. Merry Christmas!
