A Kiss

Swollen lips
Caressed by intuitive fingertips
Rushing vital principle
Awakening warmth invincible

Splashes of crimson for pallid veneer
Quickened breath; heady whispers so near
Hammering hearts clamor through framework frail
Essential substance…hidden by such slight veil

Exploration of senses; hesitant haste
Surrendering all for one lurid taste
Eternity hanging from such as this…
Voluminous stirrings from only a kiss.
