A King's Worth

This much is true...

           a king ain't just a king.
         He ain't nothin' but a title;
            just a powerless man.

        He's Samson with his hair    
  chopped off; a man who looks silly
        with a crown atop his head.

            He's a man who looks
          as lonely as a lighthouse
                 on his throne.

        A king ain't worth a damn
               without a queen
              to share his castle

          ....that much is true!
