A King And A God

You were known long before white men landed A legend that no one ever had the chance to see You were both a king and a god Watching over every creature of the forest Yet you never asked for anything It was just your love for those weaker than you True, you may not exist except in stories But the forests would not be the same without you And that would be a shame © Poem – I/XI/MMXXIV LRET
