A Kindness
A Kindness
I have been hardened, polished,
by the inequities of life’s demons.
Scarred by the evil of the “holy”.
redeemed not by a savior,
but by a kindness, awakened
to the truth that I am not like them
nor should I allow them
to destroy who I am.
