A Kid Named Cat

In a world of colors, bright and bold, Lives a kid named Cat, with a story untold. With a heart full of dreams, and a spirit so free, Yet trapped in a body that doesn’t agree. They walk through the halls, a smile on their face, But inside, they feel like their lost in a race. “Call me he, call me they,” Cat says with such grace, Yet some can’t quite grasp, and it leaves a sad trace. “Her” and “she” slip like shadows in light, Each word a reminder, a flicker of night. Though love surrounds them, a warm, gentle tide, The echoes of misunderstanding collide. Friends gather ‘round, with hearts open wide, Yet some can’t adjust, and it cuts like a knife. Cat feels the weight of a world that’s unkind, A longing for peace, for a place they can find. But if only Cat knew, in the depths of their soul, That love knows no labels, it makes us all whole. For beauty is woven in the fabric of being, In the laughter, the kindness, the joy of just seeing. Each day Cat awakens, a warrior in fight, With dreams that are vibrant, like stars in the night. If they could just see, through the fog and the pain, That their essence is magic, like sun after rain. So here’s to dear Cat, with a heart full of light, May they find their own path, and embrace their own flight. For in every heartbeat, in each gentle sigh, Lies a truth that’s unspoken, a love that won’t die. One day they'll be Cat, just Cat, nothing more, A spirit unbound, with wings to explore. And the world will rejoice, in the beauty they bring, For love is the song that sweet Cat always sings.
