A Jump In the Hay

A Jump In the Hay I needed you to be ready by nine So I told you eight-thirty I could light your pants on fire And you’d still not be in a hurry How long does it take? To pick out a dress We’re just going to dinner Do you have to look your best? Couldn’t you have ironed earlier? Do you really have to change your purse? Why do you need matching shoes? Could it get any worse? Finally you come down the stairs Looking pretty good, I must say Let’s just stay home And jump in the hay
