A Journey Back To My Heart
The glimmer from the sunset illuminates
the shadows of your spirit igniting my passion
that cries out your name
My heart skips a beat wildly as I gaze in the
dense mist of your love
I reach out to caress you,
my mouth begins to water
my body begins to sweat
Now as I sit desperately concealing my empty
heart, I realize that I could never really
possess you
For you have always been but a vision in my
dreams, dreams that I have pursued for far
too long
But, as the hands of time slowly appear
your journey back to my heart has gasped with excitement
So patience be my only companion, until your
soul reaches my heart
