Andrea Dietrich Poet Sonnet

A Journey

I started out believing there was but 
one church which had the truth, and only one.
However, I felt always in a rut.
By mid-life – with religion I was done.
Too many ideologies exist!
It makes no sense, for all cannot be true.
There’s one thing that I feel can’t be dismissed -
there is a “Someone” who loves me and you
all equally. I see Him and I feel
Him in earth’s beauty and the souls of those
who do good works. I know that He is real.
The orderliness of creation shows
a Master is behind it all! I know
one day in death, my soul will homeward go.

This is straight from the heart and yes, it's true that we all believe in some kind of 'Soul' from 'Above', that loves us all EQUALLY..
